LARANGAN PERNIKAHAN BEDA AGAMA DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF HAK ASASI MANUSIA

One of problems in inter-religious is the problem Muslim marriage with the nonMuslims,

which we called interfaith marriages. This has resulted in a more dynamic
shift in religious values than in the past. Muslim and Muslimah is more daring to
choose a non-Muslim as their companion for life. It can be said that if the state legalizes
interfaith marriages in Indonesian, then it will be the same for the state to break
religious laws in Indonesia, and violates Article 29 of the 1945 Constitution which
guarantees every citizen to embrace religion and worship according to his religion and
belief. Whereas every religion has different marriage procedures or worship. The views
of human right in Indonesia should refer more to the regulation of human rights
contained in the 1945 Constitution. It is not referring to the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights (DUHAM) that we ourselves do not know who the author is and even
what the agenda is for a country that is still religiously religious.
